The number of people who are suffering from obesity has increased over the past few years. The number was already huge in the countries like the United States and European countries, now the numbers have increased to small nations as well.

Due to an imbalance in the food that we eat and the number of calories we burn through exercise, obesity gets a place in someone’s body. Junk food that we all love to eat has enough contents to get us the unwanted diseases. The junk food or I should say the unhealthy food contains salt, sugar, and Trans fats. The Trans fats also known as bad fats are mostly responsible for obesity.
For a balanced diet, a normal human being should not have more than 2.1-2.6 gram of trans fat per day. However, the junk food available in the Indian market jumps that limit making it harmful for every person.
These Trans fats are responsible for clogging arteries. Also, the amount of amount of salt present in the junk food makes our body highly susceptible to blood pressure. The heart has to make extra effort to push the blood to the body.
Most of the fast foods contain fewer amounts of minerals and vitamins such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E etc.
Beyond that, fast foods reduce the quality of diet. The worst thing is most of the children are attracted towards unhealthy food these days. Lack of physical exercises also adds fuel to the fire. It is an important reason for obesity.
